伯明翰大学（University of Birmingham），始建于1825年，位于英国第二大城市伯明翰，世界百强名校，世界一流研究型公立大学。伯明翰大学是英国顶尖学府，也是英国第一所红砖大学及罗素大学集团成员之一，同时也是英国最早开设商学院的大学之一。

伯明翰位于英国中部，是仅次于伦敦的英国第二大城市，现在是英国主要的制造中心之一。从伯明翰搭乘火车至伦敦需1.5小时。伯明翰大学校园面积 276英亩，距离市中心3英里，大学一共有2个校区：

Edgbaston校区

伯明翰大学的主校区位于伯明翰市的Edgbaston区，在伯明翰市中心的西南方4.8公里处。Edgbaston校区占地25英亩，1900年时参考康奈尔大学校园规划设计兴建而成。伯明翰大学主校区环境优美，内有运河穿过，还建有全英唯一的校园火车站（University station）， 由此站到达伯明翰市中心（New Street station）仅需10分钟

Selly oak校区

伯明翰大学的分校区Selly oak校区位于主校区的南方大约2.5公里处，内有两所学院：伍德布鲁克学校（Woodbrooke College）和菲尔克洛福特学校（Fircroft College）。Selly oak校区同时也是剧场艺术学系的所在地，英国广播公司BBC的日间电视剧Doctors便是在此校区拍摄。
